MA, LPC, NCC

Ideal client:

I take a very person-centered and intersectional approach to counseling, allowing you to be the expert in your own life and experiences. My ideal client is someone who comes to session as their complete self and is willing to learn and lean more deeply into who they are by figuring out “the what”, “the why”, and the “what now?!”

Why do you like being a therapist:

My favorite part about being a therapist is helping clients find patterns that are bringing them down and using their true, authentic, human emotion as a leverage for their goals. When clients have that “a-ha” moment of connection, I get really excited for their growth. I enjoy helping clients learn what works for them through cognitive behavior therapy techniques, solution-focused counseling, and humanistic approaches. As a school counselor as well, I am very familiar with the many stressors and pressures that adolescents and families face and when working with families, I enjoy taking a community-based approach to work through issues and concerns.

Favorite Hobbies:

I have too many hobbies so it depends on my mood! I enjoy reading and writing poetry, but I also love rock climbing and hiking!

Favorite T.V Shows:

Gilmore Girls and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel
